The story of the British Schools of English in Italy began in '51 with the opening of the Bari premises and with the introduction of an innovative English language teaching method.The venture gave excellent results at once, so much so, that during the years that followed many other schools were opened in the main Italian cities. The rapid expansion of the group is due to the creation of an excellent teaching method, accepted with enthusiasm by teachers and students alike because of its simplicity and effectiveness. The improvement of teaching methods continues to be, over the years, one of the group's mainstays: from the development of teaching aids to the design of customised courses, from research on the learning processes to the high level of specialisation of the teachers.
