The first Faculty of Philosophy in Italy: in March 2001, as part of a series of streamlining regulations, Italy’s first Faculty of Philosophy at La Sapienza University was established, bringing together the longstanding traditions of philosophical and pedagogical studies that characterise what is one of the most prestigious institutions on the national and international scene.
