Ai Tre Scalini is a good wine bar where you can also eat some regional specialities, such as Coppiette (dried spicy pork meat) and Butterini (pieces of cold cuts in olive oil), in addition to lasagna and eggplant parmisan. It is in the heart of the quaint and central Monti area and it is one of the oldest wine bars on Rome since it was founded in 1895.
