Live in Rome: Linux Club
A club that is an intersection between an internet cafè and a cocktail bar, the club has futuristic furniture, monitors hanging down from the ceiling, transparent chairs that create an “Underground” atmosphere. A gathering cultural point, the Linux Club organizes a lot of events, experimental music concerts with DJs and VJs, live classic musical, rock music, cinema, cultural meetings, exhibitions, debates and so on. The club also offers a multimedia library, some internet points, a computer room and a movie theatre. As Achille, one of the partners, has explained, the club aims to promote and spread free software and tries to diminish information technology discrepancy. You should become a card-carrying member (the card costs 8 euros) if you want to have access to a series of special terms, including the free use of an internet position. Perhaps the most famous nightclub for live music in Rome, the club extends over a 1,400 square meter area. A vast yard, a summer theatre of events, gives access to three rooms that form Classico Village. Live music, disco, jam-sessions, cocktail bar; Classico is a big container of events. We recommend the famous nights organized by RadioRock, the fun nights organized by Zerodecibel, distinguished by live music and jam-sessions. The historic hall of Classico Village is rich in mystery and charm. It is an icon of live music in Rome, soft colours and exclusive sounds create an engaging atmosphere. The stage has hosted pop artists such as Francesco De Gregori, Claudio Baglioni, Giorgia, Nek, and jazz artists such as Masters of Groove, Ramsey Lewis, Danilo Perez, and other music greats. To sum it up Classico is a real paradise for music lovers.
