Jazz Club Rome: Alexanderplatz Jazz
One of the most famous and oldest jazz clubs in Rome, Alexanderplatz Jazz is a historical club which offers an intense concert schedule and has promoted jazz festivals. The club, which has walls decorated with graffiti and signatures of great international performers, is the ideal place for those who want to listen to good music, meet new people, and share the passion for this musical genre.
Jazz Club Rome: Casa del Jazz
An out of the ordinary place is Casa del Jazz, a project wanted by the former mayor Veltroni. It was opened after the seizure of the Villa belonging to Enrico Nicoletti, the boss of the Magliana Gang and later assigned to the municipality of Rome. In this wonderful villa there are three rooms containing a multifunctional sala with 150 seats used for live concerts, screenings, and meetings, a fine recording system that allows to realize recording products and to “immortalize” and spread concerts and events which took place in the Casa, there is also a restaurant and a rich audiovisual archive which may be consulted. In this futuristic structure you can dine and attend a lot of jazz events and concerts in the acoustically perfect hall.
Jazz Club Rome: La Palma Club
Another well-known club is La Palma Club that gives hosts to great national and international artists and proposes jazz evenings marked by the particular cuisine of the inspired chef Luca De Marco who offers unusual and tasty dishes in order to mix good taste with emotions aroused by music. Moreover the club promotes exhibitions dedicated to visual art.
