Generally the weather is mild in Italy, anyway Italy has three main weather zones: the North, the zone included between the Alps and the Tuscan-Emilian Appennines that has a severe weather in winter and hot and humid weather in summer; the Centre, included between Liguria and Rome, has a mild weather without great differences between winter and summer; the South and the islands have mild winters, autumns and summers have summer temperatures. The festival calendar has 11 days: 1th of January – New year’s Day, 6th of January – Epiphany, 25th of April - Italian Freedom Day, 1th of May, Labour Day, 2nd of June, Republic Day, 15th of August, Assumption of Mary, 1ST of November, All Saints Day, 8th of December, Immaculate Conception, 25th of December, Christmas, 26th December, Saint Stephen.

As regards clothing sizes the Italian ones are expressed in centimetres: shoe sizes are included between 35 and 46, female dress sizes are included between 38 and 56, male suit size are included between 42 and 60, male trousers 42-56, female trousers 38-48, male jackets 44-56, female jackets 40-50.
