How to become a fashion designer: Some courses

In Rome you could attend a fashion design course at the Romeur Academy where lessons are combined with workshops and seminars about fashion, photography, make-up , and cinema. At the Istituto Europeo Design you may chose among course in fashion accessories and shoes, fashion design and jewellery (in Italian) or fashion communication (in English).  In Milan fashion design courses (one year) are organized at the Istituto Marangoni which reinforces relations between the school and companies, while at Domus Academy there are courses and masters in accessories, shoes and fashion design. In Florence there is Accademia Italiana with an interesting offer of academic fashion courses and masters programs. Subjects included in the curriculum are fashion illustration, history of costume, experimental laboratory, and tailoring techiques.  Now that you know what is out their, all you have to do now is choose your course and go!
