Driving licence point: how it works
After the introduction of the driving license point system any driver has 20 points, if you break rules you lose two points, if you don’t break rules for two years you receive a bonus of two points till a maximum of thirty. Points removed can be 15 at most. If traffic offence is made by a young driver (less than tree years licence) removed points are doubled. If you have completely lost your driving licence points you will receive an advise to test your technical driving requirements in the next 30 days after which there is definitive driving suspension.

The easiest and cheapest way is to avoid traffic offences for two years: in this case points become again 20. Otherwise you can participate to courses organized by driving schools where you can recover six points at most for A1-A-B-BE driving licences or nine points if you have a C-CE-D-DE or CAP driving licence.
