Discos in Testaccio
Discos in Testaccio: Inside Rome's Nightlife
Virtually every night of the week, with the exception of Monday maybe, young people in Rome, whether they be locals, expatriates, or visitors to the Eternal City, flock to the row of clubs and allure of discos in Testaccio. Perhaps no other place in Rome offers the selection of clubs that this neighborhood does, especially those carved into the ancient terracotta hill of Monte Testaccio. Discos in Testaccio offer a huge variety of musical taste, as well as a broad choice in terms of the kind of atmosphere you prefer.
Discos in Testaccio: Coyote
This disco is characterized by a stylish but intimate interior with a holiday-like atmosphere, and a terrace up on the terracotta hill that dominates Testaccio. The Coyote is one of the most favorite meeting points for the young crowd that hangs around in Testaccio at night. The Coyote Bar is built inside the “Shard Hill” and overlooks Rome with a wonderful terrace. Open in summer and covered in winter, the club satisfies any entertaining need. After dinner and cocktails, the club offers unrestrained dancing on the dance floor, or just a “nightcap”, from 10:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Coyote offers the best beers, select wines and any possible and conceivable cocktail, and when the night gets going coyote turns into one of the hottest dance floors in the Eternal City.
Open every day.
Discos in Testaccio: Akab
Akab is the most famous disco bar, music club, disco, and art-space in Testaccio. It changes its program and trends every year, always being at the forefront among Rome's nightclubs. The place is on two floors that are always filled with people during lively nights. The program consists of nights of plain musical experimentation (on Tuesday L-Ektrika, on Thursday Essentially Mood), artistic events (on Wednesday events related to art, cinema and performances) and one night disco (weekends under the banner of musical selections that range from R and B to dance and house music).

Discos in Testaccio: Caruso
Caruso is an elegant and smooth disco for those who prefer Latin American dancing. You will be swept away from the rythm of salsa and merengue, samba and bossa nova and weekly there is the opportunity to watch professional dancers perform. A lot of times during the week there is live music, but whatever the circumstances of your visit, moving your body is a must. Instead for those who prefer quiet nights, you can taste good cocktails in the wonderful terrace or in the warm and cozy club privè.
