Dolce and Gabbana are internationally known as the children prodigies of Italian fashion. Top models such as Kate Moss, pop singers such as Madonna, actresses such as Nicole Kidman and Gwyneth Paltrow wear Dolce & Gabbana garments in official ceremonies. Awarded as the best international designers according to European and American magazines, D&G proposes clothing that doesn’t go unnoticed. In Rome there are three D&G boutiques. Rome-explorer.com has selected for you some helpful suggestions to find the Dolce & Gabbana brand.
Dolce & Gabbana has two central lines which a few key distinct differences:
Dolce&Gabbana collections (spelled without spaces, unlike the name of the company,) are synonym of luxury items, they are formal and timeless, responding to long-term trends rather than seasonal changes. D&G sells sunglasses and corrective eyewear, purses, watches and a set of fragrances, for men and women.
D&G is a slightly more casual line that follows an urban inspiration and attempts to set trends rather than follow them. It is the younger, more flamboyant line of the brand. Like Dolce&Gabbana, D&G sells watches as well as clothing, and have been voted the U.K's best luxury brand. In 2005–2006, a limited line of 1000 golden D&G Motorola RAZR V3i mobile phones was distributed by D&G boutiques and major Motorola retailers. In July 2009 D&G signed a lucrative deal with singer Alexandra Burke which will see her model their fashion lines in her music videos and in promotions.
D&G Roma: via Condotti

D&G Roma: via del Corso
D&G is in via del Corso 189, inside the chic department store La Rinascente. The fastest way to reach it is by underground: take the A line getting off at Flaminio, then cross Piazza del Popoloand you will see via del Corso in front of you. This long road links Piazza del Popolo to Piazza Venezia, and going on it you can see many Renaissance buildings, some important churches and bright windows, especially in the area between Piazza del Popolo and Via del Parlamento.

Dolce & Gabbana was created by two Italian designers, Domenico Dolce e Stefano Gabbana, who started their fashion activity in Milan. Now they have boutiques in Rome as well as in the rest of the world.
