Real Chinese food aficionados who are looking for a unique, but unveering Chinese restaurant in Rome will be able to appreciate Hang Zhou near the basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. You will often have to wait in line to get into this little hole in the wall, lined with traditional furnishings and colorful posters of Chairman Mao. This pearl of China in Rome is located in the little alley of Via di San Martino ai Monti number 33, which is just off of Via Merulana. W.O.K. is an elegant restaurant that serves a lot of Asian specialities. You can go to W.O.K. for lunch, dinner, but also for breakfast and for an aperitif from 6 to 9 p.m. On Thursday, from 6 p.m. W.O.K. hosts live music.
