In 2006 Bingo, which is played by more than one million people, half attending Bingo rooms regularly, cashed in about 1.8 billion euros: more than 1.6 billion game cards were sold, 65% costing 1 euro. In Via Siponto, 11, a stone’s throw away from the Re di Roma metro stop in the populous Appio district, there is “Bingo Re”. It is one of the most spacious Bingo halls in all of Italy. The structure is arranged on two floors and can contain up to 1,000 players. It also has more than 170 employees. In the room there is a restaurant service and an underground 300 capacity car park.
